How it Work

We are the world’s most prestigious society—a place where extraordinary minds connect, collaborate, and inspire one another.

Only those who have earned a formal degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, D. Phil, PhD, MD, JD, DDS, DMD) from our consortium of universities are eligible. Current students actively pursuing these degrees may also be considered. To stay true to the definition of an alumni network, we are not accepting fellows, researchers, staff, lecturers, post-docs, certificate holders of short-term programs, visiting students, or others who do not/will not hold formal degrees from the consortium. Verification is precise: applicants provide a university email and consent to confirm matriculation with their alma mater.

Dues are paid annually as a mark of commitment and intention. Once your enrollment is verified, you will gain access to our exclusive chat groups, member website, and app. Indicating the city where you are based allows you to receive invitations relevant to your location. Membership remains global—you are welcome to attend events anywhere in the world at no additional cost, reflecting the cross-border nature of our network.

At the heart of Mensa Alta is our monthly formal dinners. Attendance requires only payment for your own food and drinks. We kindly ask for RSVPs and payment two days in advance, helping us nurture strong relationships with our vendors. Special convocations (summits, galas, retreats, and sports outings) carry separate provisions, ensuring that annual membership remains accessible.

Each chapter is stewarded by a dedicated chapter head or event manager, your guides to events and connections.

To honor the promise of future leadership, current students and recent graduates (within the past 12 months) are welcomed at a reduced threshold, ensuring that the next generation of extraordinary minds has a seat at the table.
